Lanka Wear

An online store and admin panel for a clothing brand in Colombo. Customers can pay on delivery, by bank transfer or by card, and the owner runs products, stock and orders from a phone.

About the content: this is a prototype built to show a customer how their store could work. The brand name, contact details and bank details are placeholders, and the product photos are free stock photography. Everything else, including checkout and the admin panel, is working code.

What it does

The brief was a store that looks like a proper fashion brand and works the way Sri Lankan customers actually pay and receive things.

Catalogue with real variants

Every product has sizes, colours and stock per combination, a photo gallery, sale prices and a size guide.

Three ways to pay

Cash on delivery, bank transfer with a payment slip upload, and card payments through PayHere.

Delivery that matches the island

Fees depend on the district (Colombo area vs the rest), with a free-delivery threshold the owner sets.

Order tracking

Customers look up an order with the order number and their mobile number. No account needed.

Admin panel

Dashboard, orders, products, categories, newsletter signups and settings. Cancelling an order puts the stock back.

Made for phones

Most customers will arrive from Instagram on a phone, so the whole flow was checked down to a 320px screen.

Product pages that sell

Large photos, colour and size pickers that disable what is out of stock, and a clear delivery and exchange summary next to the buy button.

  • Low-stock warning when five or fewer are left
  • Description, delivery, returns and fit in collapsible sections
  • On phones the photos swipe, and an Add to bag bar stays at the bottom

Checkout built around local payment habits

Guest checkout with Sri Lankan mobile number validation and all 25 districts. The total and delivery fee update as the customer picks a district.

  • Cash on delivery for customers who prefer to pay at the door
  • Bank transfer shows the account details and takes a slip upload
  • Card payment hands off to PayHere, so card numbers never touch the site

An admin the owner can actually use

Open it on a phone between customers: see what came in today, which items are about to sell out, and move an order from pending to delivered.

  • Update status, mark an order as paid, leave a courier tracking note
  • One tap to call or WhatsApp the customer
  • Payment slips are only visible to the logged-in admin
